As an artist rooted in the Pacific Northwest, my work captures the essence of this beautiful region and those close to me. My paintings range from intimate portraits of loved ones to serene landscapes inspired by the lush, tranquil beauty of my surroundings. Drawing inspiration from personal moments, I strive to immortalize fleeting scenes and expressions, creating a visual narrative that resonates with viewers.
What sets my work apart is the emotional connection I forge with my subjects. My portraits reveal the personalities and emotions of those dear to me, capturing their essence with warmth and sensitivity. Similarly, my landscapes evoke the beauty and serenity of the Pacific Northwest and other locations I have visited. Each painting is a story told through careful composition and color harmony, reflecting my passion for capturing the profound simplicity of life in a region that continually inspires me.
I have lived in the Puget Sound region for the past 15 years and I enjoy creating artwork that depicts the natural beauty of Washington State. I have been recognized in multiple art shows for his paintings. Most recently, I was awarding the Vice President's Award in Parklane Gallery's 30th Annual International Miniature Show located in Kirkland, WA.
